E-mail Applications - Netscape Mail 3.0

Follow these steps to configure the e-mail and news clients in Netscape Mail. NOTE: The screen shots and instructions that follow are for Netscape Mail through 3.0. If you have a newer version of Netscape, the settings location may be different, but the information will be the same.

  • Open Netscape Navigator, select Options and then Mail and News Preferences. 
  • Click on the Servers tab and enter the following information:
    • For Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server enter mail.<yourdomain>.com.
    • For Incoming Mail (POP3) Server enter your mail.<yourdomain>.com.
    • For POP3 User Name enter your <username>.
 
 
  • Click on the Identity tab and enter the following information:
    • For Your E-mail enter your <username>@<yourdomain>.com.
    • For Reply-To Address enter <username>@<yourdomain>.com.
 
 
  • Click on OK.
  • Congratulations! You have configured your e-mail account.
